Known for his prowess as a spin-bowling all-rounder, Mohammad Nabi is renowned for his ability to impact a game with both bat and ball. His IPL journey commenced in 2017, marking a historic moment as he became the first cricketer from Afghanistan to secure an IPL contract. He initially joined Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2017 and was retained by them in 2018. In the 2022 season, he played for Kolkata Knight Riders.
With 17 IPL appearances to his name, Mohammad Nabi has contributed both with the bat and the ball, amassing 180 runs and claiming 13 wickets. His wealth of experience makes him a valuable addition to the Mumbai Indians squad for the upcoming season.
