In the second game of the series, the Pakistan women were disappointed by their poor batting as they chose to bat, but failed to make the most of their correct decisions on the coin toss. After deciding to hit first, Pakistan was thrown back in second when Brown dismissed opener Sidra Ameen. Muneeba Ali and Bismah Maroof tried to build up the innings but their attempts were quickly cut short as they both staggered Pakistan 3 for his 60 in the 18th over. Despite Nida Dar’s struggles, Pakistan struggled to build a strong partnership from there and in the end he folded just 125 in 43 overs. Dahl’s 25 was the best performance by a Pakistan batsman.
Australia showed batting contrasts in all their glory when Litchfield and Mooney hit his 15-four to take a stunning 10-wicket victory. The 19-year-old Litchfield was the busier hitter of his two, hitting 67 of 61 pitches and 10 he was undefeated at Boundary. Mooney won by 57 out of his 55 points and 50 overs he was able to take the win as easily as the format.
