IPL Prediction: “I prayed for Rishabh Pant. His comeback is very important to us. Suryakumar Yadav, others pray at Ujjain temple

Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar, along with other staff, visited the temple on Monday morning.

As India prepares for his third and final ODI in Indore on Tuesday, some members of Ujjain’s force visited the famous Mahakareswar Temple to pray. Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav and Washington Sundar, along with other staff, visited the temple on Monday morning.

Suryakumar Yadav also said he prayed to Mahakal for the speedy recovery of his Rishabh Pant, a teammate who was in a terrible car accident last month. “We wish Rishab Punt a speedy recovery. His comeback is very important to us.

“We have already won the series against New Zealand and are looking forward to the final game against them,” he added.

Pant was seriously injured in an accident in the early hours of December 30th. He was initially treated at Dehradun’s Max Hospital before being airlifted to Mumbai for further treatment.

The cricketer recently told fans that he was “on the road to recovery” and is ready for new challenges. Punt also shared a photo of the two rescuing him after a burning car crashed into a bulkhead.

Meanwhile, according to ANI’s filing, players and staff also attended Lord Shiva’s ‘Bhasma Aarti’ in the early morning at the temple.

The players wore traditional costumes called Dhoti and Angavastrum and posed for pictures with the staff of Indian cricket his team.

After beating Sri Lanka earlier this month, Team India have already taken a 2-0 lead in the three-game series. With New Zealand dropping just 108 points in his second ODI, it wouldn’t be surprising if the hosts secured another full sweep in back-to-back series.
