IPL 2021 : “Cordial Meet Up Before Intense Matchup” between CSK and DC Stars. Keep an eye on things

Players from the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals (DC) interacted with one another as they passed each other on their way to and from practise today. With Covid-19 protocols in place, players such as Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Moeen Ali, Suresh Raina, Sam Billings, and Faf Du Plessis were masked and seen exchanging light moments with one another.

“A cordial catch up before the tough matchup | DC and @ChennaiIPL stars communicated just as we finished practising and they came in for theirs, and it’s just made us more impatient for the big game on April 10 #YehHaiNayiDilli#IPL2021#VIVOIPL,” read the caption on the Delhi Capitals’ official Twitter account.

On April 10, the Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals will face off in the IPL 2021 season opener. Both teams have played each other 23 times in the IPL, with CSK winning 15 times.

However, following the outcome of the previous edition, in which DC won both times, CSK would be anxious to gain the upper hand this time.

For the remainder of the competition, DC will be without regular captain Shreyas Iyer. Iyer was ruled out after suffering a shoulder injury in the first ODI against England last month.
