IPL 2021 : Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Raina of CSK Work Together “To Take The 11 On The Other Line”

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 will kick off on April 9, and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will be looking to challenge the top teams after a disappointing 2020 season. Last year, the MS Dhoni-led team was without Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina, who both had to withdraw due to personal reasons. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) selected Harbhajan for the IPL 2021 season, while CSK kept Raina. Raina and Jadeja will bat together in the middle order for CSK, and they will be the line-mainstays up’s alongside MS Dhoni.CSK used Twitter to congratulate Raina and Jadeja, posting a picture of the two cricketers. It was labelled as follows: “Periya Manasu! Chinna Thala! On the other hand, the 8 and 3 are able to take on the 11! @imjadeja @ImRaina #Yellove #WhistlePodu “..

Raina’s appearance in the middle order would be a big boost for CSK, who released Kedar Jadhav after last season.

CSK finished sixth in the IPL 2020, missing out on a playoff berth. Six wins and eight losses were recorded in the team’s 14 games.

CSK bought all-rounder Moeen Ali for Rs 7 crore and Cheteshwar Pujara for Rs 50 lakh during the IPL 2021 player auction.

K Gowtham (Rs 9.25 crore), Harishankar Reddy (Rs 20 lakh), Bhagath Varma (Rs 20 lakh), and Hari Nishant (Rs 20 lakh) have all been added to the squad for the upcoming season.

CSK will face Delhi Capitals in their first match of the season on April 10. (DC).
