Hardik Pandya of the Mumbai Indians appears to be in a good mood ahead of the IPL 2021, as evidenced by his numerous social media posts in which he can be seen enjoying quality time with his wife Natasa Stankovic and son Agastya. The star all-rounder is seen having fun in the pool in a recent photo posted on Natasa’s Instagram stories. Natasa is holding baby Agastya, while Hardik stands in the background. The contrasting expressions provided by all three — Hardik, Natasa, and Agastya — were the highlight of the photograph. Natasa also asked her followers to caption the photo when she shared it.

The Mumbai Indians arrived in Chennai on Wednesday ahead of their IPL 2021 opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and the players have begun outdoor training.

The franchise shared a video on Instagram late Friday night, showing glimpses of their players working hard in the scorching heat of Chennai.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the IPL was held in the UAE last year, but the Rohit Sharma-led team overcame all the obstacles of a bio-secure bubble to defeat Delhi Capitals in the final, winning the IPL trophy for the fifth time.

After winning the last two seasons, Mumbai Indians will defend their title against Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 9 in an attempt to complete a hat-trick of titles, a feat that has never been accomplished in the IPL.

Hardik Pandya will play a key role in the Mumbai Indians’ title defence, but unlike last year, when he batted as a specialist batsman, he will be required to perform with both bat and ball, providing the franchise with another option if the need arises.
