IPL 2022 Winner : Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Big Players Who Won’t Be Retain

The Royal Challengers Bangalore team had a strong start to the IPL 2021 season, but they faded as the competition progressed. They were eliminated from the playoffs and will be aiming to make a major statement with a successful mega auction. Royal Challengers Bangalore has yet to win an IPL championship, and they will be without their normal captain Virat Kohli. They will also be without AB De Villiers, who has retired from cricket, and are set to be replaced by Glenn Maxwell, Yuzvendra Chahal, Harshal Patel, or Mohammad Siraj. Royal Challengers Bangalore has decided not to keep three key players.

Padikkal, Devdutt:

The Royal Challengers Bangalore selected Devdutt Padikkal in the previous IPL auction in 2020, and he immediately made an influence on the club. After an outstanding season, the graceful left-hander was included to India’s squad for the recent visit to Sri Lanka. Padikkal is regarded as India’s future cricketer, and clubs may be interested to sign him. Padikkal, on the other hand, is unlikely to be retained by the organisation, which already has two batsmen on its roster, namely Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxell.

Washington Sundar:

Washington Sundar is one of the names spoken in the RCB dressing room, but despite being one of the young players who may be fostered, he is unlikely to be kept. Sundar hasn’t been as effective as he has been in previous IPL seasons, and he hasn’t had a good run with the RCB team either. Sundar was unable to participate in the IPL 2021 UAE phase due to injury, although RCB did not appear to miss him in the starting XI. In the Indian circuit, he is one of the up-and-coming all-rounders who can be very frugal in the powerplay.

Adam Zampa:

Adam Zampa is one of the best leg spinners in the world right now, and he can make a major difference for whatever club he plays for. The Australian spinner was outstanding in the recent T20 World Cup 2021, contributing significantly to the team’s win. He did participate in the UAE phase of the IPL 2021, and despite his good performance, he might be the only overseas player not retained. With his IPL experience, Yuzvendra Chahal is expected to get the nod ahead of him.
