In a significant development, Jason Behrendorff has withdrawn from the entire Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season, prompting the Mumbai Indians to enlist English left-arm pacer Luke Wood as his replacement.
Behrendorff, originally part of the Mumbai Indians squad for IPL 2024, has cited undisclosed reasons for his departure from the tournament.
Luke Wood, noted for his precise yorkers, recently showcased his skills in the Pakistan Super League while representing the Peshawar Zalmi. He concluded the season with 12 wickets from 11 matches, maintaining an economy rate of 8.24.
