The 2023 IPL season is fast approaching. Delhi Capitals are in danger after the Rishabh Pant accident. Delhi Capitals management is awaiting news from his BCCI on Rishabh Pant’s medical report. After receiving the BCCI report, Delhi Capitals consulted Sourab Ganguly and Ricky Ponting before announcing their new captain.

From Delhi, Rishabh Pant returned to his hometown. His car hit an obstacle on the way and rolled over. Pang was seriously injured in the accident. However, he is no longer in danger and is being treated at Max’s Hospital in Dehradun. Pants has been moved from the intensive care unit to a private room. However, the swelling all over his body has not healed. Unable to walk, the Indian wicket-keeper batsman is bedridden. Pant is currently not in good enough shape to undergo an MRI scan.
BCCI board doctors are in close contact with hospital management and will make a decision in the coming days on whether to perform surgery on the knee and ankle. I plan to speak to the BCCI about Rishabh Pant’s health before making any important decisions about whether or not to become captain.
