DELHI CAPITALS

Rishabh Pant’s season-ending injury dealt the Delhi Capitals a serious blow before to the event. The group has had enough time, though, to return to the drawing board and come up with a different plan of action.

As many as 4 of the top 7 batsmen were bowled for single-digit scores in the opening game, leaving the captain David Warner unhappy with the performance of his all-star batting lineup. Prithvi Shaw, Warner’s opening partner, too got a tough half-century and seemed to be in terrific form.

The squad will rely on the middle order of Mitchell Marsh, Rilee Rossouw, and Sarfaraz Khan, who were in fantastic form leading up to this competition. As a result of the presence of Rovman Powell, Axar Patel, and Aman Khan, the Caps have a lengthy batting order.

The Caps’ bowling assault is rather well-balanced, speaking about bowling. Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav are the team’s two specialist spinners, and Khaleel Ahmed, Mukesh Kumar, and Chetan Sakariya make up a strong seam attack.

GUJARAT TITANS

Matthew Wade will probably get an opportunity to play in this game in his place. Concerningly, Hardik Pandya and Vijay Shankar haven’t been playing at their best lately.

Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan do, however, give some depth to the batting, which is a plus. The team’s new-ball assault will once again be led by Mohammed Shami, who will have the help of captain Hardik Pandya, Alzarri Joseph, and debutant Joshua Little.
