IPL prediction : IPL 2023: 5 RCB players who could be on the bench for the entire season

For the 2022 IPL, RCB showed consistency in their selection and made minimal changes to their first XI. The same can be expected from the Bangalore franchise next season.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have assembled a balanced squad for the 15th Indian Premier League. They then took their dividend and made the playoffs. Looking to find glory next season, the Bangalore-based franchise overhauled his five players and filled the gaps with quality replacements. Last season, RCB showed consistency in its selection and kept team changes to a minimum. The same can be expected for the Bangalore franchise at IPL 2023. As such, some fringe his players may be out of the game next season.

Rajan Kumar has lit up his Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy for 2022 with a stunning performance. The 26-year-old had the ball babbled early in the inning and split his lineup batting. He appeared in 7 matches and sacked 10 wickets for a sensational saving of 5.88.

Rajan continued his good job in his 2022 Vijay Hazare Trophy, with an economy of 4.39 he won 6 scalps in 5 games. Royal Challengers Bangalore liked what they saw on the left pacemaker and have signed him for their IPL auction for 2023. However, it is unlikely that he will be able to join the team in the next edition.

RCB also includes quality Indian bowlers such as Hershal Patel, Mohammed Siraj and Sidarth Kaul in their fast bowling roster. Having proven his skills time and time again in the IPL arena, Pacer’s ace will certainly be high on the pecking order. As such, Rajan may not make his IPL debut in his 2023 season.

Sonu Yadav is one of the most exciting players in his Tamil Nadu cricket circle. He said in his 2022 Tamil Premier League in Nadu in his season he scored 107 runs in 9 matches with a batting average of 152.85 and 10 wickets he took at an economy rate of 7.77. I have achieved outstanding results.

Sonu also displayed his bowling power at the 2022 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He made eight appearances for Tamil Nadu, conceding nine wickets in an economy of 5.38. The 23-year-old is invaluable to the team as he can contribute in both divisions.

However, the Bangalore franchise also has multi-faceted cricketers such as Wanindu He Hasaranga, Shabazz He Ahmed and Hershal His Patel who have produced consistent performances on the T20 circuit. So Sonu was able to warm the bank through the 16th edition of his IPL.

During his 2013 season in the well-funded league, Sunrisers attracted attention with an economy of 6.60 as he took 11 wickets in his 13 games at Hyderabad. Since then, he has been an integral part of marquee tournaments and has done a decent job with the ball.

Karn played 68 of his IPL games and at an economy of 7.91 he took 59 wickets. Royal Challengers Bangalore have signed him to strengthen their Spins division at Mega Auction 2022. However, the ace spinner did not allow him to appear in a single game all season.

RCB has stuck to his spinner leg in the 16th edition of the T20 tournament in his favor, but it will be very difficult to break into the starting XI in the presence of Hasaranga and Shahbaz, who performed well last season. The Sri Lankan spinners took 26 wickets in 16 games at an economy of 7.54, while the Indian all-rounders beat 219 runs in 16 games to take 4 wickets. Therefore, Khan may not get a chance next season.

Finn Allen proved himself in the game’s shortest format. The 23-year-old had 82 appearances in his T20, scoring 2,270 runs and batting average he was 172.75. He was also phenomenal on the international stage, in his T20I of 25 he hit 567 runs and batting average he was 163.40.

The wicket-keeper batsman has been linked with the Royal Challengers from 2021 but has yet to make his IPL debut. Allen’s stock price rose like a meteoric in his T20 arena, but it’s still unlikely to find his place in his RCB’s starting XI next season. The Kiwi hitter is in contention with Faff du Plessis for the season opener, who will captain the team and compete in every game of the season. What’s more, Du Plessis is in great form and is far less likely to get injured. So Allen could be benched for the 16th edition of his IPL.

David Willie was a reliable name on the T20 circuit. The 32-year-old has played 241 his games in the shortest format and picked many wickets in an economy of 7.94. In the batting lineup, he has 3369 RBIs and a 137.96 hitting average.

The Bangalore franchise added depth to its site by winning bowling all-rounder at Mega Auction 2022. However, he failed to live up to expectations. Willie played in 4 games, 1 he could only sack a wicket. He also failed to impress with his racket, hitting just 18 runs for a batting average of 60.00. Despite his dismal campaign, RCB showed confidence in Willie and kept him for the next season. However, British sailors are much less likely to be in the game. Josh Hazlewood is Bangalore’s top his pacer and will probably start in the team. If Hazelwood is absent for whatever reason, the team’s management could consider bringing in new ball hitter and impeccable to death Reece Topley.
