Taylor played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore team from 2008 to 2010 before switching to the Rajasthan Royals. Taylor just announced his retirement from international cricket. He spent a season there before switching to the Delhi Capitals (then Delhi Daredevils).
Taylor recalls the reaction he received after going out for a duck in a difficult chase against King XI Punjab in his autobiography, “Black & White” (now Punjab Kings). He added that the slaps weren’t particularly harsh but added that he wasn’t certain whether “it was purely play-acting.”
