The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction will take place in Kochi on Friday (December 23rd).
The 10 franchise solidifies its roster after releasing more players ahead of the IPL’s 16th edition. The Mini Auction has a maximum of 87 slots, allowing 30 international players to participate in the league.

IPL Auction Strategy:
The five-time champion has mostly kept his core, but Kieron Pollard’s absence will cause concern for the Mumbai Indian for the first time since his 2010. It has decent firepower at the top and middle of the batting order, but has a bowling all-rounder on its radar that can offer a sixth bowling option. But at the forefront are the injury-prone Jasprit Bumra and the replacement pacesetter for Jofra Archer, whose tournament fitness is under the clouds.
