New sponsors and team uniforms are part of the Indian Premier League (IP) season. Although some teams have changed the look of their uniforms, others have added additional title sponsors to their jerseys. InsideSport gives you the jerseys of Chennai Super Kings, Mumba Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders, Punjab Kings, and Rajasthan Royals with less than a month before the start of another exciting IPL season.
Chennai Super Kings Jersey :
CSK, headed by MS Dhoni, has unveiled their new jersey for the upcoming IPL 2021 season, which begins on April 9. CSK’s jersey would have undergone drastic changes, particularly with the addition of Myntra as a primary sponsor.
Punjab Kings jersey:
The IPL’s Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will debut with a new name and logo. The Punjab franchise will compete in the IPL as the Punjab Kings in 2021, and has unveiled a new logo.
Rajasthan Royals jersey:
The latest RR jersey is yet to be revealed. The Jaipur-based team is currently without a title sponsor, but a new brand is expected to launch on their jersey before the league begins. Rajasthan, for example, has a two-year contract with Studds, a two-wheeler accessory maker.
Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey:
Unlike last year’s IPL, RCB will not change their uniform for this year’s tournament. Last year, the Virat Kohli-led side made the playoffs, and this year they will aim to go one step forward and win the elusive first IPL trophy.
Kolkata Knight Riders jersey:
KKR will wear their IPL 2020 jersey, much like RCB. The Mobile Premier League (MPL) is their current title sponsor, appearing on the gold and purple shirt.
Sunrisers Hyderabad jersey:
JK Lakshmi Cement will be the primary sponsor of the Hyderabad franchise’s orange and black shirt. Aside from that, they have Jio, Colgate, and Valvoline in their arsenal.
Delhi Capitals jersey:
JSW, EbixCash, Jio, and Apollo Tyres are the primary backers of the Delhi Capitals’ blue jersey. They’ll still wear the same uniform as last year in the IPL in 2021.
Mumbai Indians jersey:
The defending champions are unlikely to modify their jersey. Samsung and DHL will be the title sponsors for the four-time winners.
