In the film, Shivaji Rao (Anil Kapoor) is asked by the Prime Minister to spend his day leading the nation and solving the problems it faces.
“If they make me the CEO of his BPL, it will take him a month or two to get everything right. You’ve seen the movie Nayak, right? If you want to do something, you can do it in one day,” Shakib told reporters.
“I will draft and auction players (on time) and hold the BPL in my spare time. We will have all modern technology. Created by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) in , it started with six franchises before expanding to include another team.
Shakib, the leading wicket-taker in BPL history, claimed that the BCB had shown no intention of publicizing the tournament. “I don’t know the BPL standard.
“I don’t think there is any reason not to take advantage of the opportunities you have in Bangladesh if you want. I don’t think I have ever wanted to be honest,” Shakib said.
Shakib, one of the world’s best all-rounders over the past decade, added: “If you’re prepared, I don’t see any reason not to have a DRS because the drafts and auctions aren’t happening three months in advance, or the teams aren’t finalized two months in advance.
“Players can only play one or two games. Shakib expressed disappointment even though his new T20 league like SA20 is ready to start.
