Ben Dwarshuis scored a four-wicket move after Josh beat Philippe for half a century in the Sydney Sixers’ 34-run victory over the Melbourne Renegades. After being restricted to 149/8, the Sixers saw off the Renegades on Wednesday (28 December) with 115, Sydney cricket scoring a comfortable win at his ground.
After being called for batting, Philippe and Curtis Patterson put the Sixers off to a solid start, and Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman finished the season opener with 32 points in five overs. to 80, he fired a series of shots into or over the fence. He put up 37-ball 50 before Will Sutherland ended his stay with 12 overs. The Renegade bowlers were much tighter as they attacked at regular intervals in the second half, hampering the Sixers’ success. 58 runs were made in the final eight overs, with only four fours scored after ten overs by the end of the innings, as Mujib, Sutherland and Kane Richardson shared seven wickets.
