The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction will take place in Kochi on Friday (December 23rd).
The 10 franchise solidifies its roster after releasing more players ahead of the IPL’s 16th edition. The Mini Auction has a maximum of 87 slots, allowing 30 international players to participate in the league.

IPL Auction Strategy:
His RCB, who is chasing his first title, doesn’t have the cash to gamble. The rest of the wallet is his second smallest and still has some holes to fill. The Indian hitter would be high on his checklist. Working with skipper Faf Du Plessis, it could be India’s opening batsman who places Virat Kohli in his preferred third spot. If Kohli opens further, RCB could settle for a medium-order option. Strong contenders for these roles, Mayank Agarwal and Manish Pandey, could anchor the innings and compensate for power hitters like Glenn Maxwell and Rajat Patidar. RCB’s overseas players du Plessis, Maxwell, Wanindu Hasaranga and Josh Hazlewood are self-selected and unlikely the franchise will break the bank by filling his two remaining overseas spots.
