Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will return to the national team this month when they face Australia in a four-game Test series starting 9 February. Jadeja, who has been out of the team since last September to treat a knee injury, returned to cricket last month in India’s first first-class tournament, the Ranji Trophy.

Jadeja led Saurashtra in the final group game in Chennai, taking seven wickets in the second innings of the game. However, the team suffered a 59 run loss to Tamil Nadu.

After the match, Jadeja traveled to Bangalore and Mumbai in his league last year in the Indian Premier League. Jadeja posted a photo with his Varma and gave the player a precious caption. “India’s future is horrifying,” wrote Jadeja.

But Jadeja is not the first Indian player to make such predictions about Tilak. Last year, India captain Rohit Sharma said the 20-year-old star could soon become the team’s all-format player.

“He (Tilak) was great. He played in his first year. It is never easy to have such a cool head. He will soon become a player of all formats in India. think. I have the technique and the temperament. Many things seem good to him. And there’s also hunger,” Rohit said during MI’s post-match presentation after the final game of the 2022 IPL season.

A few weeks later, Tilak opened up about Rohit’s remarks, claiming he spoke to the MI skipper after the season ended.

“Yes, then I met Rohit Bhai. We talked about how we could improve our hitting. I am always thinking about how my team can win the game. Individual performance is secondary. So, even though I didn’t finish some games this time, I played well. So Rohit Bhai and I also talked about it. He told me to focus on my strengths. We also talked about skills,” Tilak told News24.
