Shreyas Iyer talked about his first meeting with Sachin Tendulkar and also talked about their first face-to-face conversation.

In 39 games, a bold batsman he scored 1,609 runs in 39 games, averaging 48.75, with a century and his 14 half-century jam-packed. His high score was an unbeaten shot of 113 runs.
Pakistani captain Babar Azam topped the list as the top scorer of the year as he scored 2,598 runs at an average of 54.12 in 44 games. Azam also scored an 8-ton 17 half-century with a high score of 196. Litndas, meanwhile, was second with 1,921 runs in 42 matches and an average of 40.02. The Bangladeshi cricketer also scored a high of 141 in his three centuries, thirteen and a half centuries.
KKR captain Iyer talks about his first encounter with Sachin Tendulkar, revealing the Indian legend is ‘obsessed’ with cricket when young Iyer was still at home on his circuit , like the up-and-coming Indian cricketer, the legend was asked by Tendulkar for advice. “I was 14 years old and Sachin sir came to BKC and gave us motivation for the tournament. I had an interview, we chatted a bit and asked him about his technique and his attitude, which was constantly changing during the game, and I asked him, “What should I do?” I think Deku Shreyas is right,'” Iyer said in a recent exchange with Mashable India.
“Sachin Sur is crazy about cricket. He just keeps talking, he gives you lots of tips. He said, “Do what you’re comfortable with on that particular day.”
Iyer will begin his ODI series against Sri Lanka, which is scheduled to start on 10 January 2023 in Guwahati. His second ODI will be held in Kolkata on 12th January, followed by his third ODI in Trivandrum on 15th January. The ODI series will follow his three-game T20I series, which is set to start on January 3rd.
