IPL Career

Rinku Singh was chosen by Kings XI Punjab for ten lakh rupees in 2017 due to his outstanding domestic performances. Despite the fact that he was unable to participate in the tournament, his talent was recognised.

Kolkata Knight Riders paid 80 lakhs for him in 2018 for the 10th season of the Indian Premier League. Intriguingly, he had fetched four times his base limit of Rs. 20 lakhs as teams competed for his services. Rinku has had few opportunities with KKR in his two seasons with the club, featuring in nine games and scoring 66 runs. The 2020 season may be the southpaw’s breakthrough year.

Rinku is from a low-income family. He is the third of five brothers and sisters, and he recently revealed in an interview that he has had some difficult moments in his life. One of his brothers is an auto-rickshaw pilot, and his father delivers LPG cylinders to homes. Rinku climbed through the ranks from modest beginnings to becoming one of the circuit’s most sought-after hitters.
