Today IPL Bhavishyavani 2024 : Kohli Joins RCB Training Camp in Bengaluru Ahead of IPL 2024

Virat Kohli attended his first training session with his franchise, Royal Challengers Bangalore, ahead of IPL 2024, which commences on Friday, March 22. Kohli, who recently returned to India after the birth of his second child, was seen warming up at Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium. Faf du Plessis, the skipper of RCB, also participated in the session.

RCB, aiming for their maiden IPL title, will kick off their campaign against defending champions Chennai Super Kings in Chennai. Kohli’s performance in IPL 2023 will be closely watched as it precedes the T20 World Cup in the USA and the Caribbean.

The 35-year-old cricketer recently made his comeback to T20 cricket in January against Afghanistan, marking his first T20 appearance since the 2022 World Cup. Additionally, Skipper Rohit Sharma, who also returned to action during the same series, is anticipated to lead India in the upcoming T20 World Cup, scheduled to commence on June 1.

Kohli’s absence from the five-match home Test series against England due to family commitments is noted. However, the batting maestro delivered a memorable performance in the IPL last year, amassing 639 runs, which included two centuries and six half-centuries.
