Mumbai Indians have won the IPL for the second time in a row, and for the fifth time overall. The match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals in the final. This match was won by MI by 5 wickets. This year, MI also won the Paytm Fairplay Award.
IPL Winner 2019
The IPL 2019 final saw a titanic battle once again. In the finals, the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings clashed once more. It came down to the last bowl in the final. Shardul Thakur, who needed at least one run for the super over, was unable to stop Malinga’s off-cutter. The Mumbai Indians were crowned winners for the fourth time in a row. Mumbai Indians become the most successful team in IPL history, winning their fourth title.

Chennai Super Kings became the second team in IPL history to win more than two trophies. The batting lineup was led by veterans Ambati Rayadu and Shane Watson. After CSK and KKR, Mumbai Indians became the third team to win the title more more once. The Mumbai Indians’ excellent balancing once again helped them win the championship. The batting lineup was led by Simmons, Rohit Sharma, Ambati Rayadu, and Kieron Pollard. Slinga Malinga was in charge of the bowling department. Despite taking 24 wickets in the tournament, Lasith Malinga was not awarded the purple cap. By scalping two additional wickets, Dwayne Bravo got ahead of him.

The Kolkata Knight Riders have won the IPL title for the second time. Manvinder Bisla was the hero in the 2012 final, but this time it was Manish Pandey’s heroics that helped KKR chase down a massive total of 199. Pandey got a perfect score of 94 out of 50. The orange crown went to KKR’s Robin Uthappa, who scored 660 runs in 16 innings.

The Chennai Super Kings have become the first team in IPL history to win back-to-back finals. The defending champions were up against the tournament’s batting giants, RCB. The presence of Mr Cricket, Michael Hussey, fired up CSK’s batting unit, and he produced some crucial innings during the campaign. CSK defended their title thanks to Hussey and Murali Vijay’s 159-run opening partnership against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Adam Gilchrist scored 495 runs in 16 games, putting him second on the season’s run-scoring chart behind Mathew Hayden.
