Sri Lanka got off to a glorious start against India, aiming for a big goal of 229. Earlier, Suryakumar Yadav smashed an unbeaten century by beating India in his T20I for his third and final time at Rajkot with his mammoth score of 228/5 against Sri Lanka. After completing 50 26 balls, Suryakumar needed only 19 pitches to reach 100 runs. He went undefeated on 112 of his 52 balls, and in the process he beat nine sixes and seven fours. Shubman Gili is India’s second highest goal scorer with 36 and 46 balls and Rahul his Tripathi also scored 35 balls from his 16 balls. In Sri Lanka, Dilshan Madu shanka took two wickets while Kasun Rajitha, Chamika Karunaratne and Wanindu Hasaranga took one wicket each. First, Indian captain Hardik Pandya won a draw and chose to face the reigning Asian champions.
