Mumbai Indians will need another miracle to qualify from here after losing their first five matches. Prior to that, however, they’ll concentrate on getting out to a fast start in the tournament. They have a difficult task ahead of them as they face the Lucknow Super Giants in a contest that is crucial for both teams to win.
The Lucknow Super Giants, too, are coming off an ugly loss in their previous encounter and will be eager to get back on track. Suryakumar Yadav, another key component of the team, has only played three games and, although seeming fluid, there’s only so much he can do.
Despite their terrible performance thus far, Mumbai Indians will be looking forward to this upcoming encounter, especially after the manner in which they performed in the previous one. It was yet another instance of failing to capitalise on a crucial moment, but the manner Tilak Verma and Dewald Brevis batted should instil a lot of confidence among the teammates.
On paper, the Mumbai Indians still have a strong batting lineup, especially with Tilak Verma and Dewald Brevis in the lineup. Their bowling has to make up for lost time as soon as feasible. Apart from Jasprit Bumrah, no one has been able to keep the scoring down in any of the matches thus far. We anticipate a change in their bowling lineup, with Riley Meredith taking the place of Basil Thampi.
Overall, the Mumbai Indians are a strong team capable of defeating any opponent on their day. Lucknow Super Giants

They are coming off a disheartening loss to the Rajasthan Royals and will be looking to bounce back, particularly with the bat. LSG has been in difficulties with the bat on several occasions, and this is something they would like to correct in this upcoming encounter. While players like Quinton de Kock, Deepak Hooda, and Ayush Badoni have performed admirably, they will be asking for more from their captain.
